Happy April 1st Day.

You should take a little time out and reflect what is good in your life.

We are all blessed to be here and sometimes we take that for granted.

I work as a receptionist for one of the elementary schools in my town. Everyone knows they are always welcomed to our school with a smile and a hello.  I love talking to my parents and sometimes things do get more personal than they should.  Some people just need others to just listen when people at home won’t or can’t.    I had two sisters coming to school late.  Mom tried to explain that she was in a terrible accident 3 weeks ago.  Driving 65 miles an hour, a vehicle pulled out in front of her. She said things went blank and then she awoke to viewing the other driver’s face on the ground not moving.  Instantly killed.  36 year old wife with no children.  The guilt this mom had was tremendous.  I did talk to her about getting someone to talk to.  She talked to me for a long time and I pray that she understands what happened was of no fault of hers.  She has 2 beautiful children that need her at home and there is a reason things happen.

What I’m most grateful in my life today.
1.       My husband of 26 years.  God sent me a man that HE knew could make me a better person.
2.       My 3 beautiful children.  I’m so very proud in 3 different ways of what you have accomplished and will accomplish because you are all 3 individuals.  I love You Victoria Elizabeth, Marshall Alexander and Rebekah Kathleen with all my heart.
3.       My family.  My mom and brothers, my aunts, uncles, cousins. Love you guys.
4.       My home.  This house was built with love and I have enjoyed every minute living here with my family.
5.       My job at school.  I love greeting people and just being real.
6.       My second job and the job that will change my life and my future.  IDLife.  Changing my thinking about my health.  I finally get why good health is important when you are young.  So you won’t struggle with trying to discipline yourself when you are 46.  Learned behaviors.

Sorry to change the subject a bit.  However, I feel if we don’t reflect on whats important to us, they won’t stay important.
